In the early summer of 1908, in the former hall of the Intelligentsia Club based in this house, M. K. Čiurlionis gave a concert with Vilniaus Kanklės choir and tenor Kipras Petrauskas on the occasion of the anniversary of the newspaper Aušra (Dawn).
