According to historical records, M. K. Čiurlionis would come to the Villa Linksma to give piano lessons to Gražina Kiersnovskytė, a friend of his youth and the Villa owner’s youngest daughter, and to enjoy plein air painting with her sister Zofija Kiersnovskytė.
