In this building the Second Lithuanian Art Exhibition took place in 1908. M. K. Čiurlionis, the Deputy Chairman of the Lithuanian Art Society, selected the professional art works for the exhibition, and displayed about 60 of his works. He undertook a great deal of organisational tasks.
